7th to 8th July 2011 - University Paul Verlaine - Metz, France

By means of a pluri-discipline perspective, the symposium aims at providing state of the art research focusing on urban vulnerability and resilience of cities to climate change throughout the world. It is dedicated to scientists dealing with present and future urban climatology and also to those who are conducting research on climate change perception and the relevant implications for cities. Last but not least, the symposium is also designed for urban decision-makers who are interested in the sensitivity of urban territories to climate change.

Propositions of oral presentations addressing the general theme of the symposium through a geographical point of view (spatialization, 3D visualization and cartography; multi-scalar approaches; systemic and comparative studies; modeling approach; field measurements; exploratory data analysis; etc.) are very welcome and will be much appreciated.
